Freddy (Fred) Kreuger is the scary killer that attacks people while they dream from the horror movie franchise A Nightmare On Elm Street, which was written and directed by Wes Craven, starting in 1984. The part of Freddy was played by Robert Englund. A remake was made in 2010, and was written by Wesley Strick and directed by Samuel Bayer. In the newer verson Jackie Earle Haley played the part of Freddy.
